Christian Tackman
Financial Advisor
I grew up in Gladstone, MI, where community isn't just a word, it's how people live. When someone needs help, neighbors show up. That environment shaped who I am and taught me the value of genuinely caring about the people around you.
After earning my B.A. in Hospitality Business from Michigan State, I spent years in the hospitality industry learning what it really means to listen. Not just hear what someone says, but understand the details of their situation so you can deliver a solution that actually fits their life. That experience taught me how to build lasting relationships and make a real impact on people's lives.
Now I'm following in my father's footsteps, but I needed to prove something to myself first. I went out and built my own success before joining the family business because I wanted to know I was capable. The hard work he put into building this firm matters deeply to me, and I'm committed to honoring that legacy while bringing my own approach to the table.
What excites me most about this work is the trust clients place in me. It's one of the most rewarding parts of being a financial advisor. I take the time to understand your specific financial situation, where you are now, where you want to be, and what timeline makes sense for getting there. Then I build a plan using the right tools to pursue your goals in a way that actually works for you. That typically includes retirement planning, investment selection, and ongoing account management.
Gladstone is home. My parents live here, along with my two brothers, who mean everything to me. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all nearby, and their support during my career transition has been invaluable. The roots run deep here, and I believe this is the perfect place to give back what I've learned while continuing to grow.
I stay involved through the Gladstone Lions Club, as the club Treasurer, which gives me opportunities to serve the community and provide support where it's needed most. I'm also the Assistant Coach for the Gladstone Varsity Baseball Team. Baseball was a huge part of my life growing up, and coaching lets me support the next generation the way this community supported me. Plus, I recently rediscovered my love for golf. When I'm not working, you'll find me outdoors. My faith and time in nature keep me grounded.
This career gives me the freedom to take care of people my way, and that matters to me.
