Executive Assistant

I started at Tackman Capital Management while I was still in college at Bay de Noc. What began as a way to gain experience turned into something I genuinely loved. I thought I wanted accounting, but finance pulled me in a different direction. Twenty-six years later, I'm still here.

My role keeps the office running. I handle appointments, scheduling, correspondence, and all the administrative work that supports our advisors. It's about making sure everything flows smoothly so the team can focus on what they do best.

The people I work with matter to me. They're more than colleagues. We support each other, collaborate well, and there's a real sense of family in how we operate. That's rare, and I don't take it for granted.

I was born and raised in Gladstone. My husband, Casey, and I run a farm together on top of our regular work. Our sons, Troy and Andrew, grew up watching us put in long hours both at the office and on the land. I think it taught them something about discipline and responsibility that you can't get from a conversation. You have to see it lived out.

God gave me a family that understands what actually matters. They keep me grounded and remind me every day to give everything I have to the moment I'm in. We approach life that way together, 100% effort, no shortcuts.

The farm is where I find peace. Working with livestock, being outside, watching the sun drop below the horizon at the end of a long day. That connection to the land and animals fills something in me that nothing else does.

Raising the boys meant being present. I volunteered everywhere they were involved, chaperoning school trips, organizing fundraisers, sitting in cold rinks for hockey, and on the sidelines for football, basketball, and baseball. I even found myself at off-road races. Those years went fast, but they built memories we all still talk about.

I've given time to causes that matter. The Delta County Cancer Alliance, Light the Night for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, our church, and serving as Hockey Treasurer. When you can help, you should.

This work, this town, this family. It all fits together in a way that makes sense to me.
